A minute’s walk from the Royal Mile, opposite The Elephant House cafe and just a stone’s throw from Greyfriar’s Bobby & the National Museum of Scotland - see Multimap.

Used every week by a variety of community groups, the city centre venue is popular during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival when it is known as ‘Augustines’. Stramash – The Scots Music Show uses 'The Studio', a theatre-style room with raked seating set on the lower level.

Wheelchair Access: A ramp enables entry to the front of the building from street level to the ground floor where there are disabled toilets and a lift to the lower level.

LRT Buses: 23, 27, 41, 42, 45 and 67 stop almost outside the venue and numbers 2 and 35 stop nearby. There is free on-street parking in Chambers Street from 6.30pm (please check parking meters for restrictions).
